1. One of my music-related icons (duh), but with a special meaning for me, because it's a Spencer - the piano company that my friend Colin's (you know which Colin, heh) great grandfather was involved with and used to sell in Melbourne manymanymany years ago.
2. Apparently the original Flying Toasters was a famous Apple Mac screensaver about 20 years ago (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/After_Dark_%28software%29#Flying_Toasters). I'd never heard of it, but when shown, I thought it was sooo cute that I got a Linux version and also made this icon from part of a screenshot I took of my desktop. Toasters! With wingses! What's not to love?
3. ALL HAIL IKEA! WE WELCOME OUR IKEA OVERLORDS! BORK BORK BORK! :D Seriously though, I made this icon from a photo of an assembled Ikea kiddie-play kitchen. It's one of my few non-gold-or-sepia-tinted icons, and I use it for cooking and baking-related stuff.
4. Yay for you picking this! I made this from a dialogue balloon in an excellent webcomic called 1977 (http://www.1977thecomic.com/) that chronicles the lives of a struggling two-man, two-woman rock band in, well, 1977. The band's called Plan 9 and is partly based on someone you know, heheh. This dialogue comes from a storyline of a year or so ago in which the band's next-door-neighbour's mum turned out to be a record producer who was actually the Devil (in Liz Hurley Bedazzled form). Very funny, and worth checking the 1977 archives for!
5. The only icon I nicked, because it's too awesome not to steal! Unfortunately I've no idea who made it - I got it from my friend madnesshamster, who can't remember where she got it. So far all searches have come up blank. If you ever come across its creator, let me know...?
Oh well, no sex in Volkswagens this time. Sorry 'bout that :P
