Welcome, one and all, to the Trek Femslash Comment Ficathon!

Rules and What-not:

1. Stories should be femslash. And about Star Trek characters. Crossovers are a-ok. Any length, any rating, any theme or style. Heck, if you're moved to a vid or icons or something, those are good too.
2. Prompts should be in the format PAIRING; PROMPT WORD(S)
3. Leave as many prompts as you like, fill as many as you like. There's no need to post a story if you post a prompt.
4. Feel free to write for prompts that already have fills - the more the merrier!

I also wrote some thoughtful stuff here about vidding and how I didn't do that much but I felt I'd learned a lot from watching other people's vids in the last year and I'm excited to apply it all and vid lots in 2012, but LiveJournal nommed it. Hmph.

Welcome to the Femslash Drabbleganza, in celebration of International Day of Femslash 2011! The aim of the game is to write drabbles for any and all fandoms, with as many different femslash pairings as possible - in a chain in which each drabble must use one character from the pairing in the previous drabble, and one new character.

Tell me more?

* Each fandom will have a different thread. No worries if there's no thread for your fandom, just start one! The person who starts the thread gets to choose any femslash pairing.
* The next person in the thread should choose one character from the first pairing, and pair them with someone else for the next drabble
* The person after that should take the newest character from that drabble, and add yet another new character.

(For example, the drabbles could go: Sal/Tip; Tip/Queenie; Queenie/Eileen - but not Sal/Tip; Tip/Queenie; Tip/Susie. That way everyone gets a turn!)

This is Gadget from Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers, and she was basically the only reason I watched it. She was an inventor! And she had adventures! And she said 'golly!', hence the icon. It reminds me of my childhood. :)

I knew I needed a Miles/Julian icon, because they're completely adorable together. Also this one sort-of references Avenue Q. And also, it's so true. Seriously, you expect me to believe they have a piece of technology like the holodeck and they just use it to have innocent fun pretending to be fighter pilots and trashy gothic novel heroines?

Because Picard makes the best faces. Actually a disproportionate number of my Star Trek icons are about people being cross - but then I need them so I can complain about Brannon Braga and reply to

sophia_gratia's posts about her love/hate relationship with Voyager.

This is from 10th Kingdom, which is an awesome fairy-tales-meet-modern-world miniseries. The character holding the apple here is the wicked queen, and a lot of her storyline reminds me of my mum, so I often use this for mum-related angst posts. Or just in places where I feel like a bloodied apple is appropriate.

This is just about my only Glee icon. I've gone off Glee almost completely now, which is sad, because I thought it had some potential, but it just got so faily that it annoyed me more than I was enjoying it. But I still think Jane Lynch is awesome and her Vogue video rocked, so, yay icon!

Also, on a related note, I still haven't run out of icon space. I have yet to find my perfect Kira squee/happy-face icon, I want more Cagney and Lacey ones, Doctor Quinn ones and maybe some travelling ones or literature ones. The search continues.
